As we begin 2020, we find our 2nd Amendment rights under attack at a level unprecedented in recent years. With the rise of mainstream Socialism on the left, and politicians calling for far reaching gun bans and outright confiscation of private property, we find ourselves in the greatest fight for our rights in my lifetime.

As we head into the new year, I felt it was time to stop sitting on the sideline and add another voice to the conversation. As a community, we need to ind ways to counter the anti gun media every chance we can.

The aim of greatlakes2a is to, in some small way, help advance the cause of the god given right to self preservation and our clear constitutional right to own the tools necessary to preserve a free country.

Who are we? We are gun enthusiasts who live in a mostly free state. We live within a 20 minute drive of 2 well regarded modern sporting rifle manufacturers. We are hunters, shooters, and gun collectors. We believe that “shall not be infringed” is a clear and simple statement.

What content can you expect from us? We love our guns. By many peoples opinions, we are not “experts”, but that will not stop us from giving our opinions. Our opinions are at least as valuable as the idiots form the anti gun left in Hollywood. You will also get our thoughts on gear and guns. Although we might not be experts, we should be able to meet or exceed at least some of the dribble we see from other “online experts”.

So stay tuned. We will give you thoughts and opinions on the current events of today as well as reviews an opinions on all sorts of guns. Hopefully we will add to the conversation in some meaningful way, and perhaps shale a little bit of knowledge along the way.
